Youth Cultural Art Faire

Over 200 fourth graders from Pendleton and
Whitaker Elementary Schools experienced the
art of puppetry, drama, music and folk art.

In event workshops, students were taught how
to build musical instruments, create Indian
artifacts, play Japanese Taiko drums

The program was developed to provide students
with a hands-on artistic experience that many
schools have been forced to eliminate due to
budget cuts.
