Saturday marks the first day of summer and although summer will look a little different this year, but the season will be just as fun. With a few changes, Buena Park will continue to offer plenty of free activities and services to make the fun last all summer long!
City Facilities Open for Business
City Hall and City facilities (with the exemption of the Senior Center) are now open. Staff is taking measures to ensure the health and safety of both employees and residents. We ask that visitors adhere to the following safety measures as well.
COVID-19 Rental Assistance Program
The COVID-19 Rental Assistance Program will provide emergency rental assistance to Buena Park residents facing financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligible households will receive emergency rental assistance up to $1,000 per month through Dec. 31, 2020.
Street-Sweeping Citations Resume June 15
Buena Park resumes citations for street sweeping parking beginning today. Although these citations were suspended in March due to the Stay-at-Home order in the state, keeping our streets clean was and continues to be a priority
As we all continue to stay home, we're bringing the fun to you! The City launched it's Virtual Recreation Center! Here you can find access to activities, virtual tours, education tools, fitness and more to keep you and your family happy, healthy and engaged during this time.
Buena Park Community Resource Center
The Buena Park Community Resource Center continues to provide residents with resources, now over the phone and through email. They work to connect residents to critical resources (food, healthcare, financial assistance, jobs, housing, etc.) Call (855) 796-3456 for more.
COVID-19 Cases in Buena Park
The County of Orange, continues to provide updated data for city-by-city count of the County’s COVID-19 cases. Buena Park currently has 443 reported cases. Please continue to do your part by staying home as much as possible except for essential trips. Buena Park is in this together.
Buena Park's Eviction Moratorium
On March 17, 2020, the City Council adopted a city law prohibiting evictions for tenants of residential and commercial properties for those unable to pay rent due to financial impacts related to COVID-19. Click here to learn more.

AVAILABLE BUSINESS GRANT PROGRAMS
There are two business grant programs currently available to Buena Park businesses. These grant programs are provided to assist businesses that have been negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Businesses can apply for grants (funds that do not have to be repaid) through the Second District Business Relief Emergency Grant Program or the Fourth District Small Business Relief Program.
FOURTH OF JULY FLYOVER
The cities of Buena Park, Orange and La Habra have joined forces to commemorate our freedom by co-hosting a flyover on Saturday, July 4, 2020.
BUENA PARK NAVIGATION CENTER OPENS
Partner organizations and members of the community were invited Monday, June 29 to celebrate the grand opening of the Buena Park Navigation Center at 6494 Caballero Blvd.
