The City of Buena Park Engineering Division maintains a number of different types of record drawings. These include items such as water and sewer plans, street improvements, and benchmarks. These drawings are in hard copy form, and are also being scanned and made available online through our Geographic Information Systems (GIS). See the links at the left to view data specific to record drawings, or the links below for our GIS platform in general.
The City of Buena Park has an overall GIS data platform made using Environmental Research Systems, Inc. (ESRI) technology. On this site you can view all the available maps and apps published by the City. The data is divided by the department that is typically associated with it. For example, land use and zoning information is within the Planning Division area, while public utility information is available in the Public Works Division area.
The Public Works Division is responsible for the overall maintenance and operation of the City's GIS platform. If you have any GIS specific questions, you can contact GIS@buenapark.com for more information.
The City of Buena Park has recently launched a new GIS data portal! The portal can be used to show many different types of data for the city, and is a helpful tool for both employees and residents. Please click on the link above to get to the new portal. It contains both maps for general use, as well as data that can be downloaded directly into your own GIS system.
