Hours of Operation

The Buena Park Police Department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year; however, hours vary for each Unit. Certain Services are by appointment only.

Front Counter

Monday through Friday: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Jail Visitation

Daily: 9 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.

Property Release

Monday through Wednesday: 7 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Thursday: 7 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Bike License

Bike Licenses are issued on the first and third Saturdays of each month: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Detective Bureau

Monday through Friday: 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Clearance Letter

Monday through Friday 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
