    • Tax Assistance - AARP Tax Aide (February - April) - This program is suspended for the 2019 Tax Season due to preventing the spread of COVID -19

    Games are held Monday and Tuesday afternoons from 1:00 to 3:00pm. The cost is $0.25 per card.  Grocery items are the prizes for this fun game.

    Join us for one of our Sunday Tea Dances from 1:00-4:00pm. You can also dance the night away on one Saturday evening a month from 7:00 to 10:00pm. Both of these dance events can be found at the Buena Park Senior Activity Center.  On either Saturday or Sunday $6.00 admission charge entitles you to dance to music, enjoy refreshments and even be eligible for door prizes.     The "Senior Sampler" Gift Shop is open year round, Monday through Thursday from 10:00am to 2:00pm. The public is welcome to purchase some fantastic handmade items. For more information call (714) 236-3875 or (714) 236-3870. Seeking skilled consignees. 

    Our Social Worker will acquaint you with the many services at the Senior Activity Center and connect you with county and local non-profit programs. Call for an appointment (714) 236-3876.

    Meals on Wheels of Buena Park (a local non-profit) will deliver meals to your home Monday through Friday for a nominal fee if you are home bound and unable to prepare your own meals. Volunteer drivers are always needed for this program.  Call (714) 995-5826 for more information on  this great program


    If you are need of transportation to medical appointments, call (714) 236-3870 for registration and information. Must be over 60 and a Buena Park resident. A suggested donation of $1.00 each way. Rides are available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm. 


    The Buena Park Senior Activity Center provides transportation for residents 60 years and older to attend activities, classes, and the nutrition program Monday through Thursday. The program picks seniors up form their homes and delivers them to the center. This program is sponsored in part by OCTA Measure M2 and The City of Buena Park.     The Adult Day Care is designed for individuals over 60 years of age who are in need of supervision and care during the day while their caregiver(s) work or take time for themselves. The program is offered 9:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. Call (714) 826-3163 for more information. This program is operated by Meals on Wheels OC.

     Community SeniorServ (Daily Nutrition Program)

    The Meals on Wheels OC  Lunch Cafe is more than just a meal. It gives seniors the opportunity to enjoy a hot, well-balanced, nutritious meal in the company of other seniors. Stop by any morning, Monday through Friday and enjoy an interesting speaker, entertainment, or maybe a special party. Lunch is served at 11:30 am for a $3.00 donation.     The Buena Park Senior Center has a strong and vital volunteer program. Application and Job Descriptions available at the front desk. New volunteers are always welcome.

    The Buena Park Senior Club was established in 1959 and meets every Tuesday from 10:00am - 12:00pm. Please call (714) 236-3870 for details. This club travels on monthly excursions, hosts monthly pot luck dinners and has an annual hula party in the month of August.
