The Buena Park Senior Activity Center is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Evening hours vary depending on programming, consult the monthly newsletter for exact times.

Our mission is to provide the mature adult population in the community with a diverse offering of recreational, educational, social and human service programs in environments which promote a spirit of dignity and limitless potential for later life enrichment.

Our goals are to enhance quality of life, nurture talents and skills, foster social interaction, and support independence and self-determination.

    BINGO
    Games are held Monday and Tuesday afternoons from 1:00 to 3:00pm. The cost is $0.25 per card.  Grocery items are the prizes for this fun game.

    DANCE
    Dance the night away on Saturday evenings from 7:00 to 10:00pm at the Senior Activity Center. The $6.00 admission charge entitles you to dance to music, enjoy refreshments and even be eligible for door prizes. Consult the monthly newsletter or call (714) 236-3870 for more details.

    Additional dances are held on the last Friday of the month beginning at 10:00am. Admission is free.

    GIFT SHOP
    The "Senior Sampler" Gift Shop is open year round, Monday through Thursday from 10:00am to 2:00pm. The public is welcome to purchase some fantastic handmade items. For more information call (714) 236-3875 or (714) 236-3870. Seeking skilled consignees. 

    OUTREACH
    An Outreach Worker will acquaint you with the many services at the Senior Activity Center and connect you with county wide programs. Call for an appointment (714) 236-3876.

    MEALS ON WHEELS
    Meals on Wheels of Buena Park will deliver meals to your home Monday through Friday for a nominal fee if you are home bound and unable to prepare your own meals. Volunteer drivers are always needed for this program.  Call (714) 995-5826 for more information on  this great program

    SENIOR TRANSPORTATION 

    NON-EMERGENCY MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION
    If you are need of transportation to medical appointments, call (714) 236-3870 for registration and information. Must be over 60 and a Buena Park resident. A suggested donation of $1.00 each way. Rides are available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. 

    SENIOR MOBILITY PROGRAM

    The Buena Park Senior Activity Center provides transportation for residents 60 years and older to attend activities and the nutrition program Monday through Thursday. The program picks seniors up form their homes and delivers them to the center. This program is sponsored in part by Measure M2 and The City of Buena Park.     ADULT DAY CARE PROGRAM
    The Adult Day Care is designed for individuals over 60 years of age who are in need of supervision and care during the day while their caregiver(s) work or take time for themselves. The program is offered 9:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. Call (714) 826-3163 for more information. This program is operated by Community SeniorServ.

     Community SeniorServ (Daily Nutrition Program)

    The Community SeniorServ Nutrition Program is more than just a meal. It gives seniors the opportunity to enjoy a hot, well-balanced, nutritious meal in the company of other seniors. Stop by any morning, Monday through Friday and enjoy an interesting speaker, entertainment, or maybe a special party. Lunch is served at 11:45am for a $3.00 donation.     VOLUNTEERS
    The Buena Park Senior Center has a strong and vital volunteer program. Application and Job Descriptions available at the front desk. New volunteers are always welcome.

    BUENA PARK SENIOR CLUB 
    The Buena Park Senior Club was established in 1959 and meets every Tuesday and Thursday. Please call the President of the club Vince Recchia (714) 449-1424. This club travels on monthly excursions, hosts monthly pot luck dinners and has an annual hula party in the month of August.
