When Code Enforcement receives an inquiry to investigate a possible code violation, the code enforcement officer will respond by attempting to meet with the property owner or tenant at the property in question.

Since customer service and voluntary compliance are top priorities, the code enforcement officer will help you understand the reasons for the regulation and respectfully advise you of what needs to be done to resolve the violation.

If you receive a notice regarding the possible code violation(s), this means that Code Enforcement was unsuccessful in attempting to reach you, or the violations continued to exist.
