The City of Buena Park is offering week long camps for kids ages 7-14. The City’s Recreation staff will run camps Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Buena Park Junior High School Gymnasium. Parents can sign their kids up for full days for $100 per week or half days from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. for $50 per week. Daily activities will include games such as basketball, volleyball, kickball, ultimate Frisbee, movie time and much more! Each camp will also feature a field trip to the Peak Park Pool for an afternoon of swimming and fun! All participants will receive a camp T-shirt. Kids are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes and shoes and will need to bring a sack lunch each day. Camps will be offered all summer long beginning Monday, June 28 and ending Friday, August 13.

Registration is easy! Parents can sign their kids up in person at Ehlers Community Center, 8150 Knott Ave. or at the Buena Park Junior High School Gymnasium, 6931 Orangethorpe Ave. in Buena Park. Registration is also accepted by phone by calling (714) 236-3860.

Ehlers Community Center is open Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and is closed most Fridays and on weekends. The gymnasium will accept registration Monday-Friday from 6-9 p.m., cash or check only.
