Here are the projects that are in need of the most sign ups:

St. Joseph's Church Garden Revitalization - Volunteers will help revitalize the St.Joseph's Church garden path by laying weed cloth and shoveling granite into a prepared path linking the church's education building to the city sidewalk, running through trees (the fruit of which is destined for area food banks).

Boys & Girls Club Beautification - Volunteers will help beautify the club for our community's children by painting bathrooms and offices, cleaning out a storage area, pulling weeds, and so much more!

Jr. High Native CA Garden Prep - Buena Park Junior High students have won a grant to plant a California native garden near the school office. The proposed site had large trees at one point and the ground needs to be cleaned up and prepared for the planting later in May.

Beautifying First Congregational Church -  Volunteers will clean playground walk ways, wash adjacent classroom exterior windows, rake wood chips, paint rod iron fencing, and plant flowers in planters. This will give the exterior of the church the boost it deserves!

Senior Activity Center Clean-Up - The Senior Center is looking for volunteers to clean tables and chairs in the activity center. The senior center hosts daily activities and programs for our senior residents and you can help beautify the space for those community members.

Speech & Language Development Center Landscaping - This center provides developmental education for children and adults in the community with special needs. They are looking for volunteers to assist with basic landscaping and painting around their campus.

Mable L. Pendleton Elementary School Beautification - Volunteers needed to help clean up and beautify the Pendleton Elementary School campus. They will sweep, paint, trim plants, and assist in slight repair on campus.

Whitaker Campus Beautification - Volunteers will help support Whitaker Elementary School by cleaning up and beautifying the campus. Tasks will include repainting the lines on playground, washing windows, landscaping, etc.

Several Neighbors in Need - Volunteers are needed to assist with several senior residences clean-ups. These are your neighbors in need. You can help by signing up to perform simple yard work and beautification tasks.
