The Griffith Observatory is an icon of Los Angeles, a national leader in public astronomy, a beloved civic gathering place, and one of Southern California’s most popular attractions. Operated by world-famous Wolfgang Puck, The Café at the End of the Universe serves snacks, cool drinks, full meals, and delicious desserts. At the star party amateur astronomers share their telescopes with the general public to look at the sun, moon, visible planets, and other objects. Its an opportunity to try out a variety of telescopes and to talk to astronomy enthusiasts about the sky and their equipment.
