The City of Buena Park Recreation, Parks & Community Services Department offers a wide variety of recreation, sports and cultural activities, senior programs, services and events for all age groups. It is responsible for maintaining and developing all public parks & facilities as well as the Walter D. Ehlers Community Recreation Center, the Department's Administrative Offices, as well as providing graffiti removal services to the entire community.

In addition, the Department provides residents with current community information through the production of the award-winning Buena Park Today Community Newsletter, community-oriented cable television productions for the City's Government Access cable channel BPTV 3 and the maintenance of the City's Web site.
