Water
Quality Management Plans (WQMPs)
WQMPs are
required for many construction and redevelopment projects. A WQMP describes
all post-construction activities and Best Management Practices (BMPs)
implemented to reduce stormwater pollution as required by the Santa Ana
Regional Water Quality Control Board.
The following
attachments can be used to describe why a WQMP is necessary, determine
the priority of the project and also view the template for submittal.

Water
Quality Management Plan (WQMP) For New Developments And Significant Redevelopments
Provides a description of what a WQMP is, why one is required and
what items to include in a submittal. The check list that City Plan Checkers
use to determine WQMP approval is also included.

A flow chart is provided to assist in determining if a project is a high
or low priority.
Model
Water Quality Management Plan Template
A template is provided to assist in designing the WQMP document. Simply
input required information into the Word file. All WQMPs must be submitted
using the City's WQMP Template.
