FILING A CODE ENFORCEMENT COMPLAINT Please make sure that you have the following required information when filing a complaint:
You may now file a complaint online using the Internet. Upon your initial submission of a complaint, you will be required to register online. All registrations are kept confidential. Click on Code Enforcement Complaint Form in order to file your complaint. You may also file your complaint in writing, by phone, or in-person to: Buena Park Code Enforcement COMPLYING WITH CITY CODE When Code Enforcement receives an inquiry to investigate a possible code violation, the code enforcement officer will respond by attempting to meet with the property owner or tenant at the property in question. Since customer service and voluntary compliance is a top priority, the code enforcement officer will help you understand the reasons for the regulation and respectfully advise you of what needs to be done to resolve the violation. If you receive a notice regarding the possible code violation(s), this means that Code Enforcement was unsuccessful in attempting to reach you, or the violations continued to exist. |
